Procedure for renting a vehicle: Dispatch of booking with whichever means is convenient for you. (By completing the on-line reservation form our web site, or by sending us an e-mail, or by calling our head reservation office in Santorini +30 697 224 2406.

Confirm your booking by receiving a reservation number from our web site, or by calling the head reservation center of AXION Travel & Rent a Car (+30 697 224 2406).


Payment of reservation: In order for a booking to be valid the 20% of full amount must be paid. Payment can be executed online by credit or debit cards Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Diners, Discover or using the electronic wallet MASTERPASS either by using Paypal or Stripe or by completing the fax form and sending it back to us. If you wish to pay by depositing into our account, you must say so in your reservation so that AXION Travel & Rent a Car will inform you of the company’s bank account.
If your arrival date is less than four (4) days from the date of your reservation, the full amount (100%) of the reservation must be paid. If not, then you must pay the 20% of the amount.

*All card payments are processed through Alpha Bank’s Alpha e-Commerce payment platform and use TLS 1.2 encryption with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption protocol.
Encryption is a way to encode the information until it reaches its intended recipient, which will be able to decode it using the appropriate key.
*For security reasons, credit card information is not stored by us or disclosed to us. They remain in the cooperating bank.

*Prices refer to online bookings from the site.
In our office they differ.


Cancellation: In case of a cancellation of the reservation within a period of 7 days before the start of the rental, the full amount of the reservation is refunded. Notify us via email (axionrentacar_at_gmail.com).


Change reservation date or type of vehicle: It is possible to change the date and / or the type of vehicle. Should AXION Travel & Rent a Car to be informed 7 days before the commencement of the lease. If the change is less than 7 days then we will try your service but no sure result.


Force majeure: The AXION Travel & Rent a Car will make every effort to deliver you the type and model of car you have selected. If for reasons of force majeure (mechanical failure of the vehicle, etc.) that can not be feasible then will deliver a similar vehicle of the same type.


Rental requirements: Driver must be over 21 years of age. A valid driving license held for at least one year is required from the driver.

Don’t forget!
Passport and international driving license.
Credit card (Visa or MasterCard) in name of the lead driver. No debit cards accepted.

Or Similar – what does it mean? The term ‘Or Similar’ indicates that the vehicle you rent may not be the exact make and model as the vehicle displayed, although it will be from the same car group, meaning that it will be comparable in size and performance to that vehicle.
The actual vehicle you rent will depend on the makes and models available at the time within the car group you request.
If we are unable to provide a vehicle in your requested car group, we will provide a vehicle from the next available car group up at no extra charge.


General Terms of Rental: The minimum time of rental is 2 hours but you are charged with the cost of a full-day.
Delivery and Collection of the vehicle is free for more than one day, from/to the airport, port or your hotel at Santorini.
Reservations for one day is additionally charged with 20 eur (unless you pick up the car from our office).
Tax of 24% is included to the total amount.
Gasoline consumption is payable by the renter.
We offer free kilometers.
The output of the car from the island are not allowed.

Brilliant experience hiring with this company, was the owners son I dealt with. Gave very good advice on vehicle suitability which turned out to be spot on. He also gave a very fair rental price cash in hand, no squabbles upon returning it, and got myself a drive to the airport as i picked up his driver upon leaving Akrotiri so no hassles at the airport either for either party.

Axion delivered our car to the Santorini airport at midnight. The car was exactly as expected. We rented a Kia Stonic, which held 4 adults, one child, and all of our bags. Super friendly and accommodating, rented a brand new quad and toured Perissa beach. Highly recommend the open air versus a car. Hope to be back soon and will always use axion car service!
